Curriculum Vitae of Bibiana Miškolciová
Slovak-born pianist Bibiana Miškolciová is a concert artist with a rich performing experience and versatile interpretative skills. She began her musical studies at the age of seven and recently graduated from Butler University with a Master's degree in Piano Performance.
Throughout her career, Bibiana has captivated demanding professional audiences and received awards and accolades from judges at international competitions and festivals. Some of her noteworthy achievements include first prize in Artists of the Year International Music Competition 2022, Platinum Prize in 21st Century Prominent Musicians Award 2023, 1st prize in American International Music Competition Cleveland 2025, and many others.
Bibiana has performed in renowned venues both in Europe and the United States, including the Carnegie Hall, the DiMenna Center, Viennese Palais Auesperg, the Mirbach Palace in Bratislava, and others. Her repertoire encompasses a wide variety of stylistic eras, from early music to contemporary works, and she is equally successful in performing as a soloist and with groups.
Apart from performing, Bibiana is also an active scholar. In her research, she primarily focuses on Béla Bartók's ethnomusicological work and the impact of Slovak folk music on his compositional style.
Bibiana has had the privilege of working with such acclaimed pianists as Mikhail Voskresensky, Pavel Gillov, Awadagin Pratt, and others in the past. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in the piano studio of Dr. Jeffrey Savage at University of Missouri–Kansas City, where she also serves as a Graduate Assistant in Collaborative Piano.
