B I O G R A P H Y
Kevin Gentile is an Italian saxophonist. His musical journey began at the age of 14 as a self-taught musician, and continued at the prestigious Conservatorio "E.R. Duni" in Matera. There, he immersed himself in the beauty and complexity of classical music, cultivating his passion for the instrument and discovering its expressive potential.
He then continued his studies at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana in Lugano, where he was fortunate to be the only student in the saxophone class, under the guidance of M° Raphael Camenish. This experience allowed him to broaden his knowledge, including that of contemporary music, and hone his artistic skills under the guidance of renowned musicians.
He is currently continuing his musical education at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne (HEMU) in the class of M° Pierre-Stéphane Meugé, further deepening his artistic and technical development in an internationalcontext.
Kevin has won numerous international awards and participated in numerous orchestral and musical productions.
His career has led him to achieve significant musical achievements both as a soloist and as a member of orchestras and ensembles. He performs regularly in Switzerland, Italy, and abroad.
